The Novitiate is  a time  of initiation into the religious life and spirituality of our sjs During this  time.  a novice internalizes the meaning of the evangelical counsels. She intensifies her desire to build a personal relationship with the triune God. It is also a time for further discernment of her call as she and the Sanstha observe her desire and potential for full participation on the life of the Sant Joseph congrigation.
